In Q1 2024, the top 5 theme park apps in Costa Rica—My Disney Experience, Disneyland® Paris, Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood™, and SeaWorld—exhibited diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users.

My Disney Experience showed fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at around $1.3K at the start of January and experiencing a low of $228 in mid-February. Weekly downloads remained relatively consistent, averaging around 600 at the beginning of the quarter but dropping to about 260 by mid-February. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at approximately 742 and declining to around 424 by the end of February.

Disneyland® Paris had modest revenue, with peaks at $28 in early February and remaining below $15 for the rest of the quarter. Downloads saw a gradual decline from around 465 in early January to about 220 by early March, with a slight recovery to 341 by the end of March. Active users were fairly stable, starting at 1131 and ending the quarter at 1045.

Universal Orlando Resort did not generate revenue during this period. Weekly downloads began at 477 and saw a decline to about 159 by late February, with a slight uptick to 276 by the end of March. Active users started at 905 and followed a downward trend to around 600 in late February, before climbing back to 711 by the end of the quarter.

Universal Studios Hollywood™ also reported no revenue. Downloads began at 372 and dropped significantly to 86 by late February, with a minor increase to 163 by late March. Active users started at 714, decreased to around 409 by mid-March, and ended the quarter at 491.

SeaWorld did not record any revenue during Q1 2024. Downloads were highest in early January at 196 but fell dramatically to just 32 by early March, with a recovery to 120 by the end of the quarter. Active users started at 215 and saw a significant drop to 51 by early March, with a rebound to 145 by the end of March.
